Walgreens deals

Here are some Walgreens deals:

1. Almay products are on sale from $5.59-12. You get back a $5 RR for buying one. So, even with no coupons, you could get some make-up for cheap. However, I of course had coupons. First, there is a Walgreens Spring beauty book that has a $2 off Almay coupon. I also had a $2/1 from the 3/6SS, which could be stacked with the beauty one. So, I did 3 transactions. I bought mascara for $5.59. I used the 2 coupons, which made it $1.59. I then got back a $5RR. I MADE $3.41 on each order!

2. Tena bladder control pads are $9.99 with a $9.99RR. At my Walgreens, they had some packs that were on clearance for $6.49. I decided to try them and see if I would get a RR still(glad I tried, too, because they worked!). I also had a $1.50/1 from 1/2SS. I paid $5.48 and got back a $10 RR on each of my 3 orders! Again, I MADE $4.52!

3. Snickers egg candy is on sale for 2/$1. I used the $1/2 any Mar's product from 3/20RP to get 2 for free!

So, total for today, I MADE $23.79!

I also went to Jewel. No great deals, except they had some Revlon nail polish on clearance for $.99. I used a $1/1 from 3/6 SS to get one for free.

Un-happy Dominick's deal

So, I did the fruit snack deal which I posted about previously again. I had 2 $1/2 coupons left and used those with the $1.50o/3 from the catalina coupon machine. So, in 2 transactions, I made $.50. I also learned some new things about Dominick's. First, they only take one catalina of the same dollar amount in each order. Wish I had known about that. I saved my $3 catalinas until the end, and bought some fruits. I went to pay with my 6 catalinas and was told this policy. At least I can use them at Jewel or WalMart, since I rarely go to Dominick's.

I also had an issue with them on a coupon. The Trident Vitality gum is on sale BOGO free. I had a coupon from this week's paper for BOGO free gum. So, I should have got both for free. Not so. After calling over the manager and still getting no where, I decided just not to get the gum. I had to leave to pick up my little one, so it was not worth it.

Dominick's and CVS deal

If you or your family use/like Betty Crocker fruit snacks, Dominick's has a great deal going on now. Buy 3, you get a $1cat, buy 4 and get a $2cat, buy 5 or more, get $3cat. Their fruit snacks are on sale for $.99 when you buy 4(or more). So....

Transaction 2:
I bought 5 Fruit by the Foot for $.99 each. I used 2 $1/2 from the back of the Totino's pizza roll box. My total was $3.35 and I got back a $3 catalina. 5 boxes for $.35.

After checking out, I received a catalina coupon for $1.50/3 boxes. So, I am going to go back today or tomorrow and do it again. This time, however, I will use a $1.50 and a $1 coupon and make $.50 on each deal. Yeah for Dominicks this week!

Not much good at the drug stores this week. CVS has Revlon nail polish at $3.99 with $3ECB. Use the $1/1 coupon from this week to make it free. OR, scan your card at the scanner, get a $3 Revlon coupon, and make $2 like I did!! I also had a raincheck for 3 Airwick AquaMist's(at $5.99) and 1 Finish dishwashing pod($3). My total would have been $21 with $10ECB. I also had 3 $4/1 Airwick and 1 $2.25/1 Finish. So, I MADE $3.25 .

Piggly Wiggly deal

Alas, no more Jewel posts! Never got in my special order either, grunt, grunt. Anyway, here is a fruit snack deal from Piggly Wiggly.

When you buy 8 Betty Crocker fruit snacks/fruit by the foots, which are on sale for $1.48, you get an additional $.50 off each. There are coupons in the 1/2 GM for $.50/2. So, I bought 10(8 were $.98 and 2 were $1.48), used 5 coupons and my total was $9.16. Now, there is a mail-in-rebate from BoxTops for education. It is if you buy 10 products, you get a pre-paid $10 Visa. So, I got 10 boxes of Fruit by the Foot and I MADE $.84(after I get the rebate back). I was getting nervous because we only have 4 boxes left from a previous deal, and my kids love them. No worries now for a while!

Make sure to scan your items first! The tomatoes said $1.89 in the aisle. When I scanned them at the scanner, they said $1.29. When I went to the register, they were $1.45. Don't know why the discrepancy, especially from the price scanner and the register, but there was. Good thing I had my calculator there and ready. Drug store deals

Walgreens

The Natrol Acai casules are still on sale, BOGO free. Again, they are $10.99. Use the $5/1 coupon from the January coupon book. It will take off $10 if you buy 2 automatically. Use 2 of the $2/1 coupon from 10/10 RP to make $3. Make sure you have $3 in other stuff when you check out, or they won't be able to do it, as they would owe you money!(On a side note, I had 2 $3/1 from inside the boxes of ones I had previously bought to make this a $5MM)

The Lysol Healthy Touch Soap System is $11.99 with $7 RR. Use with the $3/1 from 1/9 SS to make this only $2. The refill alone is $4.99.

My Walgreens did not get in any Go! Kids Vitamins, (Why advertise if you aren't going to have them in the stores) which are free after RR.

CVS

They have lots of good deals this week. Here is what I did, and would have done if they had had everything.

Transaction 1 (Would have gone like this, but they did not have everything I needed. They give rainchecks for their stuff, even if you would get ECB's, so I got a raincheck).

3 Air Wick Neutra Air-$6
1 Finish powerball-$3
Total=$21

Total was over $20 I needed to get back $10. So, $21-10=$11. I have 3 $4/1 Neutra Air from 1/2SS and 1 $2.25 off Finish from 1/2SS. So, $11-$4-$4-$4-$2.25=+$3.25MM

Transaction 2

I bought 3 Pepsi 12-packs and 10 Gatorades. This was part of another $20/$10. No coupons or anything. So I spent $20 and got back $10ECB. Not exceptional, but not bad either. You could also do the following:

a.6 Pepsi 12-packs=$20-$10ECB=$10 for 6 12 packs
b.20 Gatorades =$20-$10ECB is $.50 a bottle, which is a good price for these

I don't have all my coupons from this week yet, so I could not yet do the following deal.

Transaction 3
Spend $20, get $10 ECB
3 Maalox $5.29 ($5/1 from 1/9 SS)
1 Gas-X $6.69 ($4/1 from 12/12 SS)

Total is $21.98, so over $20. $21.98-$10ECB=$11.98-$5-$5-$5-$4= +$7.02MM.

I will go later this week once I get all my coupons. If CVS is out, I will just get another raincheck!

I also got 1 dove single. It was $.89 with $.89 ECB. I also got a $.50/1 dove single at the scanner. So this was a $.50MM.

I got 1 Hershey dots, which were free after ECB.

Yesterday at Walgreens

I know it is too late for anyone to get the following deal, but thought I would share it anyway. Yesterday, I bought 6 Loreal lipsticks for $2.59 each. I used 3 $5/2 coupons from 11/14 RP. So, my total was $.54 and I got back a $5 RR for spending $20 on Loreal. I MADE $4.46! I think this deal is past now, though I am not positive.

I also bought Natrol Acai berry capsules. They were BOGO free at $10.99. I also had 2 $2/1 coupons from 10/10 RP and there was a $5 coupon in the January coupon book. So, they took off $5 for each bottle. So, I got off $10, $2, $2. I MADE $3. When I got home from dinner out last night, I opened the bottles and there were $3 off coupons inside! However, I was too tired, and cold, to go out again. I am going to see if these are still BOGO this week. I hope so!

I will write more when I get back from Walgreens and CVS later today.

I keep forgetting to let you all know that right now at Walgreens, the Omega 3 vitamins are free after RR. Also, when I opened one of the boxes, I saw there is a coupon inside for $3 off the vitamins. So, buy the Omega 3's, use coupon, pay $7.18 and get back a $10 RR. $2.82 MM

Walgreens update-heads up

I have heard that the $5 Walgreens coupon is not working for everyone. It says on it any oscillilium flu product, and the kids one is the flu one, so not sure why it isn't working. People have said it beeps when the cashier scans the coupon. Mine did not for it, but maybe it was working yesterday morning, and then the changed it? Not sure, but just a heads up to everyone

Walgreens deals! Big money makers here!

Walgreens

Children's Oscillococcinum homeopathic flu(COHF) medicine is on sale for $8.99 with a $9 RR back, so free. Here is how to make this a big money maker. If you still have your coupons from 1/24/10 RP(it does pay to keep them!), there is a $2/1 COHF. Also, in the Walgreens January coupon book there is a $5/1 OHF. So, buy 1 at $8.99, use both coupons and pay $2.19 and get back a $9RR. A $6.81 MM! Even without the $2/1 coupon, you still make about $5 on this. Good deal, which I am sure will sell very quickly.

Finish dishwasher power tabs and powder are on sale for $3.49 with $1.50RR back. Use with the $2.25/1 from this weeks SS to make $.25. My Walgreen was out of these today already. Maybe later this week.

Also, when I did the transactions with the COHF, a coupon for 1 free box of Breathe Rite nasal strips, up to $7.49 printed out of the catalina machine. So, I will be getting 3 boxes of those later this week too, for free!

Finese shampoo/conditioner and other products are on sale for $1.99 with $2RR back, so free. Also, on the bottles were mail in rebates for free products. So, send in the rebate, subtract your stamp price(?$.44, I don't even know how much stamps are now:)) and you have make about $1.50.
